Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Gesture RPS app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA) also applies; if the two conflict, these Terms apply to the extent the EULA allows.

The app

Gesture RPS is a rock-paper-scissors game. You play by showing a hand sign to your iPhone's front camera, and the app reads the sign on your device. The app is free, has no in-app purchases, no ads and no accounts, and it works without a network connection.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Camera and privacy

The app needs camera access to see your hand. Camera frames are analysed on your device and then discarded; nothing is recorded, stored or sent to us or anyone else. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Play safely

Play in a safe place and keep enough space around you. Take breaks if your hand or eyes get tired. Children should play with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Accuracy

Hand-sign recognition depends on light, distance and how clearly your hand is shown. The app replays a round when it is not sure, but it may sometimes misread a sign. Results are for fun only.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update the app and these Terms. If we change these Terms, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts in Dubai, UAE have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
